Ribs	Full length, pre-crowned solid spruce ribs, notched into the inner rim.
Plate	Pure iron ore made in the traditional method of slow sand casting.
Scale	Measured duplex, low tension scale designed by Klaus Fenner.
Action	All Renner action made of European hornbeam.
Keys	Pratt Reed premium spruce keys, individually balanced and weighted.
Hammers	Premium Renner blue label hammers, t-wired and individually voiced.
Strings	Roslau music wire made in Germany.
Pin Block	16 ply, cross grained laminated hard rock maple.
Tuning Pins	German Diamond brand tuning pins made of rod steel.
Others	Slow close fallboard. Hand rubbed lacquer finish. Maple legs with iron interlocks. Forged brass pedals. Full sostenuto. Solid brass hardware. Large solid brass castors.

The model 53 is the "perfect piano" for the home. Its beautiful voice will fill a room with warm, glorious music. The size of the 53 makes it a comfortable fit in the living room, music room or even an alcove where space is definitely limited. This wonderful instrument possesses all of the tonal potential of the largest, most powerful Wm. Knabe grand pianos; it just does not have as loud of a voice as some of its larger siblings.
